CLAC Benefits

YOW screening officers currently have healthcare benefits coverage under the USW benefits plan. If you switch unions, CLAC is prepared with a top-notch union benefits plan for you to transition to, so that there is no gap in coverage.

Please be aware that CLAC has been through a similar benefits transition with Garda, when YYC screening officers left the Teamsters union and its benefits plan and joined CLAC. There was no gap in coverage, as CLAC immediately worked with Garda on a transition to the CLAC benefits plan. Garda will simply stop sending monthly benefits premiums remittances to your current union and will start sending them to CLAC to fund coverage.
